A PhD history student needed a place for long-form writing that felt intentional — not a generic blog, but something closer to a small magazine.

Solution

We built a magazine-style publishing site focused on reading, with a headless CMS so he can publish and update pieces on his own without touching the code.

Why this stack

Astro keeps content pages fast with almost no client-side JavaScript, which suits long reading. The CMS lets the author manage posts without waiting on a developer for every change.
